These are the plain-English terms for using Bin12. By using the app, you agree to them.
Who can use it
You must be 21 or older, or the legal drinking age where you live, to use Bin12.
Your account
Keep your login secure and keep your account information accurate. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
Your content stays yours
The wines, ratings, notes, and photos you log are yours. By adding them to Bin12, you give us permission to store them and show them the way your sharing settings say — to your cellar members, your friends, or a shop, only as far as you’ve chosen. The privacy page explains who sees what.
Be decent
- No spam and no scraping.
- Don’t claim to run a shop you don’t.
- Don’t abuse invite links, RSVP forms, or shop claim forms.
Shop listings
Some shop listings on Bin12 are written by us, based on a shop’s own public announcements. A shop can claim its listing or ask us to take it down — see For shops.
Tastings and events
Tastings and events on Bin12 are run by the shops and hosts who create them, not by Bin12. Check details with them directly. Drink responsibly, and never drive after drinking.
AI can be wrong
Tasting notes, label scans, and other AI-written content can be inaccurate. Use your own judgment.
Provided as-is
Bin12 is still being built. We provide it as-is, with no warranty. To the extent the law allows, Bin12 isn’t liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the app.
Suspension
We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Stopping
You can stop using Bin12 anytime and ask us to delete your account — see our privacy page.
Changes
If these terms change, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
