Print your QR code
Tasting or Pro for ratingsThe sign guests scan. Print it once: the code never changes and opens whatever you're pouring.
- 1Open QR code from the portal's front page (the "Print:" line, or step 4 of the checklist while you're setting up) or Print your QR code from Shop tastings. Reprint any time from the same place.
- 2If there's a Design row, pick Classic or one of the designs made for a frame. Every design prints the same code, so a card you printed earlier keeps working.
- 3Under Size, pick Folded card (a letter sheet that folds on the dashed line and stands on the counter), Letter sheet (one full page, for a wall or a frame) or 4×6 card (fits a stand). A design made for a frame offers the sizes it comes in.
- 4If you've uploaded a logo, pick Show logo or No logo.
- 5Press Print. For a PDF, pick "Save as PDF" in the print dialog.
What a scan opens is set in the What your QR code opens card, near the foot of the Shop tastings page. Pick a setting and press Save.
| Setting | A guest who scans gets |
|---|---|
| Automatic | A guest who scans getsThe tasting that is running, or one that starts within two hours (on Tasting or Pro, the first scan starts it). Otherwise your shop page with your next listed date. A tasting 2 hours past its end time no longer counts as running. |
| One tasting you pick | A guest who scans getsThat tasting, until you close it. |
Your QR code takes ratings on the Tasting and Pro plans. On Free, after a trial ends, or once a Tasting shop has had guest ratings at 5 tastings that month, a scan opens your shop page, unless the tasting already has its guest QR. The QR code page warns you when that's the case.
A tasting marked Demo on the Shop tastings page is one Bin12 ran at your counter to show how it works, using the same QR code. It doesn't count toward your plan's tastings or your reports. Keep it, or press Delete beside it.
