Quick start

Before the day

1. 1Open your invite. The email is titled "Your Bin12 page for (your shop) is ready". Press Set up your account, then Create account & open portal. You land on the Merchant portal. To come back later, sign in to Bin12 and choose Merchant in the menu.
2. 2Add your logo and address. Under Your listing, press Add a logo. Fill in your street address, city, state and ZIP, then press Save. The ZIP matters most: it puts your tastings in nearby searches and sets their time zone.
3. 3Schedule your first tasting. Open Shop tastings. Under New tasting, give it a name, pick a date and time, and press Create. On the tasting's page, press Manage the lineup. Line up the bottles and press Scan the table, or press + Add a bottle for each one.
4. 4Print your table tent. Open Your table tent and press Print. You print it once. The code on it never changes, and it opens whichever tasting you are running.

On the day

1. 1Put the tent on the table.
2. 2Open the tasting in the portal and press Start tasting.
3. 3Guests point their phone camera at the tent and rate each wine. They need no app and no account.
4. 4When the last guest leaves, press Close tasting. If you forget, Bin12 closes it the next morning.

On Tasting or Pro, if any guest joined, everyone on your team gets an email the next morning with who came and which wine won.

Guest ratings come with the Tasting and Pro plans. Your 90-day Pro trial starts the day you accept your invite, with no card. Check Your plan on the portal: it should say "Pro trial" and the days left.
