Sell from the room

Tasting or Pro

Guests tap the wines they'd take home. Your phone lists them live; press Sold when the bottle crosses the counter.

  1. 1Open the tasting in the portal while it runs. It opens on Live from the room: Want a bottle counts the guests who tapped, Sold the bottles you marked.
  2. 2Under Taking one home, each wine shows how many guests want one and how many are sold. Beneath it, one row per guest who tapped: "a guest" or their name if they shared it, the pour number and the time.
  3. 3When the bottle crosses the counter, press Sold on that row. The row dims. Pressed by mistake? Press Undo.
  4. 4Someone buying who never scanned? Press Sold a bottle under the wine.
  5. 5If you put prices on the lineup, On the table adds up what guests wanted and what you marked Sold, in dollars. The same two dollar figures sit under Want a bottle and Sold at the top.

The list refreshes itself every 20 seconds while the page is open and the tasting is running. Once you close the tasting it stays as a record, with no buttons.

"a guest" or a nameWhere it comes fromA guest is named only if they checked Also share my name & email with your shop. Everyone else is "a guest", on every plan.
The count per wineWhere it comes fromGuests who tapped I'd take one home beside that pour, and bottles you marked Sold.
Walk-upWhere it comes fromA bottle you marked with Sold a bottle, for someone who didn't scan.

On the table counts only bottles with a price. A bottle sold from a wine with no price is counted in bottles and the line says how many. Sold is your staff's tap, a record for you, not a register. Nothing is charged, no card is taken, and nothing talks to your point of sale. A guest's own "took one home" is theirs and never changes when you press Sold.

Sold comes with the Tasting and Pro plans. On Free the section says so and shows no list.
